Looking for a new contest?

If you're looking for an easy new contest to enter because you want some free books, I have the one for you! All you have to do is read books that you already own. Either that, or you can buy cheap old ones at garage sales and trade with your friends. The object is to save your book money for the fall when there are so many really good books being released. Act fast though! This contest lasts only for the month of August!

  1. That's a cool idea! Thank you for sharing. :D

Also, I'm a new follower and I just wanted to say I love the idea for your blog. It's very awesome. I love series, so I was happy to hear about a blog dedicated to them! Just thought I'd recommend some that I thought you might like. My favorite young adult books are the three that make up the Darkest Powers trilogy by Kelley Armstrong. (She'll be starting a new trilogy called Darkness Rising -- the book is called The Gathering -- and it's coming out in April 2011).

Some others that aren't YA, but they're equally amazing: Women of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong (11 books, 2 anthologies of short stories, and the next book coming out in summer/fall 2011), Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs (5 books and the next one coming out in January), and Alpha & Omega series by Patricia Briggs (2 books and the next one coming out in fall 2011).

I'm looking forward to reading more of your blog posts in the future! :)

  2. I never saw your comment, I'm sorry! I actually just checked out a Darkness Rising book and I'll be reading it as soon as Finals are over, expect a review!

I've read both of the Patricia Briggs series you mentioned and both are equally amazing, I may have forgotten to blog about Alpha and Omega though. I'll be doing that soon. I'm also going to start blogging more of the audiobooks that I listen to while driving to and from school, because some of them are really great.

    Thanks for following!
